Team Gigi T-Shirts

December 18, 2009 - Today marked the launch of a special "third-party" fundraising event on behalf of the BC Cancer Foundation, Vancouver Island.  Aegis has purchased 100 chocolate brown, jerseys, inscribed in white with "Team Gigi" on the front (opposite) and the BC Cancer Foundation logo (below) on the back.  The t-shirts are being supplied by Out of the Blue Designs of Victoria, and are available by donation at the Aegis office.

The captain of Team Gigi is our very own special educator, Maria (Gigi) Cook who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer.

Salt Spring Vacation

August 12, 2009 - Couldn't imagine a more pleasant spot to walk the dogs -- Spindrift is situated on a secluded six acre peninsula just four miles from the village of Ganges on Salt Spring Island.  Here Gigi heads out with Pancho, pooh bag in hand.

Here Gigi sits at the lookout on the tip of the penninsula with Pancho and Stella, planning our next move.  Perhaps we can pick up the art studio tour where we left off the day before?  Tonight we'll take in Edith Piaff at the ArtSpring theatre.

Ucluelet Retreat

July 3, 2009 - We never did see the bear that frequents the beach at Harbour House near Ucluelet, but perhaps it was just as well.  Had a great time on the beach at Long Beach with Pancho (in the white outfit) and Stella (in the dark).

Here Gigi walks the dogs as Dad takes the pictures.  Opposite:  Stella thinks beach life is the cats meow.  Pardon the expression Stella!
